Will Makita Compact batteries power the regular Makita tools?

    the dewalt batteries that i use interchange so, i’m pretty sure those do too paul s

    no. the blue ones need the 3 va battery’s to function properly and the other 1.5 va ones won’t even fit. the 3 va and 1.5 va will fit in the white makita drills. a question to you, which is better, the blue hammerdrill, or the white drill? i am considering makita. i spent 2 hours researching this the other day and am really confused as to which is the better drill, since i will never probably use the hammer function.
    ~why did i get a thumb down? someone just doesn’t like me. i spent over 2 hours online the other day researching this, trust me, i’m right on this one.
