What’s the best way to advertise a small remodeling company?

I’ve already started a website and am on adwords. I have put at least 1000 flyers out. Still not havin’ much luck tho. My best friend and i started this company, we’re runnin’ utta money fast tho, we have a legal business name, insurance, and are licensed contractors. We’ve been doin’ construction for a combined 30 yrs. or more, we’re just havin’ a problem gettin’ our foot in the door, still building up our tool inventory and only have 1 truck so far. in desperate need of sum business.

Start out by having pictures of remodeling work you and your partner have did on the same job. Keep this in your work truck so you can show it to a every new prospect you come across.Pictures tell all.
Now here is a place for you and your best friend to look for prospects on getting new work: Home Depot , Lows , look for Business Shows , when you find a show book it. A good place to look for is Business Expo’s in your city or other city’s if you want to travel.

Use word of mouth

Try Craigslist for your area (it’s free) - small business ad - make sure you include your website link and phone number.
Put some advertising on your truck - include phone number and website.
Post notices/flyers at the community center (s) or community boards in your area.
Contact property managers: see if you can provide a continuing service for a number of properties (give them a ‘package’ deal or a price contract for a period of time).
