Try getting your dad new work boots. My dad used to love it when he got new ones. Maybe you could find him some hunting stuff too…
I would suggest you go to a department store, to the area where clocks are sold and look for a weather station. These are handy as they hang on the wall and usually comprise of a thermometer, (for temperature) a barometer (indicates if rail will occur because of low pressure), and a hygrometer (tells how much moisture is present in the atmosphere) These are really handy and you will be surprised how many times a day he will look at it once he gets used to it. What if you got him bullets? If you can’t buy them yourself, you could get a friend or relative to get them for you. What if you paid for a trip to a fancy shooting range or something. You could get him an NRA membership if he doesn’t have one. Do you think he would like a kabar or some other cool knife-like-weapon? Are there any tv series or movies he would like on dvd?
