There is no single one, there are many depending on what exactly it is you are looking to do/use, ie; table saw, router, power drill, mitre saw, sander, etc etc etc

I’m a Master Carpenter/Cabinet-Maker/Joiner and Electrical Engineer, I would never use Milwaukee under any circumstance and only use certain Dewalt tools, I would never use all of their tools as they are not good for everything.

I have not seen Freud mentioned for Routers, Makita for Drills, Skill for Skill/Circular and Reciprocating saws etc. 12″ Dan

if you mean cordless tools, dewalt hands down.i was watching nascar and watched a driver leave the pits dragging a sawzall and make a lap dragging it, then coming back into the pit, the pit crew grabbed the trigger and finished cutting.i work in the trades and use dewalt cordless saw and sawzall daily.they are awesome. idontgivafork

This is kind of a general question. There are several power tool brands out there that are worthy of use. Your will want to ask yourself some questions such as:
How often will you be using these power tools? Everyday or just occasional weekend use.
In what kind of setting? On a construction job site, in your workshop or just around the home.
How much abuse are you expecting these tools to go through? Are they being used by others, specifically on the job site.
What price range do you want to stay in? The price of power tools vary. Low, mid-range and high end…you are going to pay accordingly.
Check on the different warranties of each manufacturer.
If it’s cordless you may want to consider the battery types, voltages, and duration that the power tool maintains. Jeff
