Easy or difficult to fix power window for 95 Avalon?

The front drivers side power window on my 95 Avalon stopped working. When I press the button, I hear a little sound like the motor is trying to do its job, but can’t. So maybe it’s the motor, or a gear, or something.
Is this something that I, a person with average mechanical ability, could fix, if I had the service manual and tools? Or is it best left to a mechanic? Thanks.
