Should BJP discard Ram Temple issue tactfully to protect NDA?
It is only BJP which possesses comparatively better qualities in larger number of its leaders. There are black sheep in all political parties, but BJP has very few. It is also true BJP has suffered erosion in its image due to much rhetoric on Ayodhya issue, its over dependence on construction of Ram temple and due to its image tarnished by media campaign and other political parties called as secular.
When the party was in rule they forgot this agenda and whenever election comes near, this party under pressure of some hard core leaders as also leaders of Bajrang Dal, RSS and VHP is constrained to adopt the same old agenda by which public in general is fed up.
It is worthwhile to mention here that during its last rule in the country, the party gained best image under the leadership of Atal Vihari Vajpayee and L K Advani and India was really shining. But the word shining was ridiculed by the then opposition parties taking support of disgruntled leaders, greedy leaders and childish behavior of leaders of BJP supporting groups named above.
BJP inspite of giving good governance and solid execution of its development agenda lost the image on the eve of last election when leaders of Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Bajrang Dal and RSS started criticizing softness and balanced policy of BJP and when BJP’s own friends tarnished the image of veteran leader like L K Advani , and all such criticism under jealousy and with greed in mind to gain some prestigious post which BJP alone used to enjoy due to their entry in Government.
Again on 7th of this month Mr. Rajnath Singh stressed that BJP will construct Ram temple at Ayodhya and reignited the issue giving opposing parties same tool to tarnish the secular image of BJP built by Mr. Advani through his strategic silence on the issue for last almost one decade. I reiterate here that voters in general do not like communal disturbance and more pin pointedly the mischievous and uncivilized campaign by person like Togaria ,Katiyar and all five Kauravs of Vishwa Hindu Parishad who while praising Hindus do not hesitate to hurt the sentiments of Muslims while delivering election speeches during poll rallies?
As such it is desirable that BJP discard temple issue tactfully and at least do not put any more stress on Temple issue and concentrate only on the achievements of BJP in BJP ruled states and occasionally on the faults committed by ruling UPA. It is undeniable fact that the issue of temple will prove to be counter productive.
It is to be kept in mind that Ms Uma Bharti , the hard core supporter of Ram temple lost miserably in MP .. .Mr. Kalyan Singh lost the ground when he left BJP last time. Again this time Mr. Kalyan Singh has left BJP due to some ego clash with Rajnath Singh and he will be able to do nothing at his own and this is why he also thought it fit to discard the Ram Mandir issue to remain alive in politics in association with Mulayam Singh Yadav. These two snakes will slowly pollute the air which will go against the prospect of BJP.
BJP can use the issue of terror attack and failure of UPA in handling this grave issue as Obama did in a few days of rule and as Bush did during his rule by not allowing recurrence of terror attack after 2001.Voters in genral are not happy with the paper bullet threatening given to Pakistan by Pranab Mukherjee and his friends in Congress Party
BJP can publicize the corruption perpetuated by Congress in NREGA and in all schemes sponsored by government. BJP can use drama on Nuclear issue if found beneficial. BJP can use sky rocketing prices of all essential commodities including Gold, sharp fall in stock market causing huge loss to retail investors, government failure in providing leak proof solid governance in corporate sector which gave rise to perpetuation of fraud of such huge dimension in Satyam.
BJP can loudly say that during UPA rule and due to faulty policies of economic liberalization and globalization assets of 5 percent of businessmen grew disproportionately widening the gap between the riches and the poor. Social crime has grown by leaps and bounds due to increasing unemployment whereas BJP ruled state Gujarat has created history in development of Gujarat and creating an atmosphere conducive for industrialization and creation of fresher employment opportunities.
There are several positive points in the almirah of BJP for use during election campaign which will prove more fruitful and less damager than temple issue which may produce more side effects enough to destroy the future of BJP winning probabilities. On the contrary Congress has nothing as such which can be used as positive points to lure the voters. Congress in particular and UPA in general and parties like SP and BSP have the one and only agenda of secularism and this is why they invariably create bad name for BJP by pointing its communal agenda.
If one is good one should appear to be good. If BJP wants to appear as good party meant f
