I need to run amoured cable from my house to a consumer box in my garage. In the garage I will have two 6ft strip lights and a ring circuit. Will be using power tools , fridge, kettle, tv off the ring circuit. Before I get a lecture about messing around with electrics ..I’m not. I’m only running the cable now as the decking is already up.

I recently found an old computer in storage and got it running. Now I’m downloading Fedora and I plan to put it on a disk and boot my comp with it. First, though, I want to delete all of the old files, software, hardware, everything- including my old OS. However, upon going to google the best advice I could find regarding completely obliterating my computer’s innards required the use of Power Tools. So, advice?

I have drill press, 10″ compound mitre saw, band saw, bench belt sander, router, reciprocating saw, circular, variable speed drill, etc.
I have voltage converters for my tools. Replacement cost will be very high and I could never sell the tools for what they are worth. My concern is whether or not I will have trouble with them running properly on 50hz power when they are rated for 60hz and if it will shorten the life of the tools. Just running a little slower won’t be a problem.

Is this possible?

I need to replace a fuse in this fuse holder on the power cable running to my amp.

I don’t have the tools to disconnect the power cable from the battery first…

But is it possible to just unscrew the damn fuse holder, replace the fuse, and screw it back on without any consequences?
