If someone comes up with another tool that can be used, using the same batteries of a combo pack, can a patent be obtained for that idea?

Hypothetically speaking, lets say the radio for use in combination, with a specific brand power tool set has not been done before. Obviously, the radio is not new, nor is a battery powered radio. The idea of designing a radio to be powered by the same batteries used for the other accessories may be new and be allowed patent protection.

I have been doing some patent searching, but I’m having difficulty in narrowing the search down.
Any suggests on finding the patents on these manufacturers as it might relate to my situation?

Does it seem possible to get a patent like this, and how would I specify the claims?

How would I approach manufactures after filing?

I’m 15 years old, and am already in Industrial Tech. 2 at my High school. I love all the saws, and building something out of nothing. So, since I can only do this 48 minutes a day, I wanna try and buy my own power tools. My dad is experienced with wood working, and will help me. I think a want a circular saw and sabre saw. I just want to build simple things for right now, a small stool, table, picture frames, something like that. What would be the best power tools for someone with moderate experience on a tight budget? On the buidling site where I am going to work they only have these yellow 3-pin industrial 110V sockets (which alos require different plugs). Are there any converters or transformers, which I can plug in to use my standrad 240V tools? Thanks in advance for all the help! Mike

I have a 6ft long box shaped (sorry not really into this sort of stuff) and i need to cut it so i can make a skate-able rail. Problem is i dont have any power tools or Oxy-Aceylene torch so i’m kind of screw. Its not a nessicity i just want one. Any ideas?
