Suzy Homemaker loves to read asked:

I’m in the middle of a bit of a project, in order to finish this project I need:
a power drill with hole saw attachment
& a staple gun

I do not currently own either.

I’ve recently moved from the US to the UK so I don’t really know where in my area (Harrogate, North Yorkshire) one could rent a power tool.
I’ve tried looking around online for tool rental shops but I’ve come up empty as of yet-
Any suggestions?

Thank you!

I have to get screws out of an old bench. I know nothing about tools, so I was wondering if I could use a power drill to take them out (yes I know it can put screws in). If not, a screwdriver should work right?
Thanks

I need to route the cavities and pick up pockets for my guitar, but i wanted to know if they was a way to do this without having to use a router?
I could use a drill with a veery large drill bit i think, then use my mini rotary tool to sand the edges to get straight edges.. i think
Or I could use a chisel XD wait -could that work?
Any other ways? or am i best off with a router?

thank you!
christie

my dad has a power drill, can i buy a straight router bit and use it with the drill (if it has the correct shank diameter of course) ?
