Christmas is right around the corner and I asked my mom for some Skill power tools and I was just wondering if Skill was a good brand of tools to buy so if any one knows or would like to share there opinion please share thanks.
So they are good for doing weekend projects but they are not to great for a actual construction workers.

So usually I just let those comments slide. She’s old, she doesn’t really know any better and she’s been taught to think this way. I just don’t know what clicked in me, but for some reason I felt like I had to respond. As we were driving past the toll booth, I said:

“You know what I really hate Grandma? Female construction workers. It’s like, who do they think they are? Don’t the know that men usually do jobs like those? It’s more dangerous for women to be handling power tools and helping build houses — they’re not built for jobs like that.”

My grandma looked pretty offended, and then I felt extremely guilty. Did I take it too far? Was it too offensive?
What could I have said that would have been more appropriate?

I know that it costs a lot of money for tools, but I’m not sure if they get paid less than construction workers who only pay much less for their tools. As for the work that automotive techs do, I’m not sure if I enjoy it anymore.

I am at my last year of high school and time is going by fast. Should I take an extra year? Take a year off of school? Or just give the auto trade one more shot? I am taking a co-op course at school for a dealership.

Why wouldn’t god help a brotha out?

Am I within my rights to complain about construction work being carried out opposite my house? They are starting at 7 o’clock in the morning and it is very loud. Any advice would be grateful!
