Triton brand, how are they? I am at the point of being a poor carpenter wannabee. I like wood working and I need a good miter saw, I saw a Triton on amazon for three hundred shipped with the laser sliding the works. is triton a good brand or should I stick with the dewalt for another $100?

Any good places to get inexpensive power tools that will last a long time would be great as well.

TheDayTheWorldDied asked:

my dad is a carpenter and he had all of his big power tools stolen from his garage. who ever did it didnt bother taking the smaller tools.

my question is should he file a police report and if he finds his tools on ebay or in a pawn shop can he get them back? i heard you have to have a serial number is that like a receipt or something? because he bought those things years ago and i doubt he has a receipt.

Stormin’ Norman asked:

So confusing! I want to get my boyfriend a sawzall for Christmas, but not just any sawzall because he is a carpenter and needs a very heavy duty professional tool. I figure the 13amp Milwaukee sawzall is probably my best bet…but there are a few different 13 amp models. How the heck am I supposed to know which one is the best? Can someone out there who is less confused about power tools help me out!?

-Side note: I want one with a cord. And if anyone has a link or an inside scoop on where i could get the best deal I would really appreciate it!

Yorky P asked:

I was wondering if anyone had ever tried to make a guitar in high school wood shop. I’m just talking about the basic components not all electronics or paint job. Do you think it’s possible in one semester? Do you suggest avoiding it all together to prevent enormous failure? haha. Please help. My dad is a carpenter and I help out all of the time so I know quite a bit about construction and tools if that’s any advantage. I want to make my own Les Paul right now because I won’t be able to afford my own Gibby until after this summer of working, I don’t need any information on how to build one, just how long it would take.
