First, what is the advantage of air-powered tools over electric powered tools? I have used air tools before…just wondering about any specific advantages.

Second, do most (or all) air compressors allow the operator to regulate output pressure?

Let’s say the compressor advertises a maximum of 150 psi, but I don’t want more than 90 psi.

Thanks in advance.

just got a new truck and I want to get air tools for when i start working on it. but i don’t know anything about air compressors/tools. i have done some reading around on it but i’m still confused. what things should I look for in a compressor? what things should I stay away from? I remember reading somewhere that some compressors draw more power then a standard electrical outlet can make? Whats that about? could i get a good compressor for ~$300? and what are some tools I should get for working on the truck? thanks for all the help

Will connecting 2 air compressors to the same line increase my CFM (air flow rate) to run bigger tools?

I have 2 small compressors in my garage which are both not up to the job of running tools like a die grinder (for long) or an impact wrench. If i was to connect them both to my main air line, would that increase my air flow rate and run the tools with a greater air consumption?
