Now that I have figured out my power tools, I have a question about baking?

I bought “foil” baking cups for my cup cakes, but half of them are white instead of foil. Am I supposed to put a white one inside of each foil one, or use them each separately?

From now on I am sticking to things I know…like climbing mountains in nepal and making bomb threats.

    The white ones are paper cups, or at least should be, and they go next to the cake/batter. First, aluminum foil can leave a bad taste in the batter, second aluminum foil isn’t always the safest thing to handle, the edge is pretty sharp, and third the aluminum foil is just there to conduct the heat.     The paper ones are just separators to keep the foil cups from sticking together in the package. You can remove them and just fill the foil cups… I usually save them for later use.

    i bet your local baker will give you his cupcakes if you threaten to cut him up with your new power saw. then you can take your different foils and your fat cup cake face and go straight to he!!. that baker was my uncle. oly out Sweet Oly

    the white liners are for the boring cupcakes like whole grain muffins. the shiny silver liners are for the more popular baked goods, like chocolate fudge cupcakes or mini key lime pies. Whitney
