Mom’s B-Day?

my mom’s birthday is this Tuesday, June 10. I want to give her a really special present, and I want it to be hand-made to make it even more special. I already started a simple scrapbook made of construction paper. i kinda think it’s a bit boring and I don’t really know what else i should add on to it to make it exciting. And I want to make her a present also, but f.y.i. I’m only like10 so I can’t use tools. So ya please I want great, exciting ideas. 10 points!!!

    A scrapbook sounds like a good idea - put old photos in it and write little things around them … like you could look up song lyrics that might relate to the photos and so on. And add little beads and stickers and stamps and whatever else you can think of.
    I would have reccommended you use iron-on transfers of photos … my friend once made her mom a cushion with photos transfered onto it … I think she stitched them onto it but I wouldn’t reccommend it due to your age.
    Have you considered making a photo frame? All you need is a square of cardboard (sturdy enough that it will stay together), cut out a space for the photo in the middle and decorate the cardboard frame with either paint, other little photos, beads, shells, whatever you can find!!

    Or make her a bookmark - simply cut out a strip of card or cardboard and decorate it however you want. Punch a small hole in the top and tie some ribbon or string to it to make a tassel.

    I think that’s really cute. Obviously it doesn’t have to be as simple as that - you can decorate it in aaany way you want but it’s a great little thing for her to keep and look back on.

    Well maybe you could put some of your own pics that you took into the scrapbook from something you and your fam or even better, you and your mom did together! Another good idea might be if she really likes some actors or singers, print out their pics and out them in!!! You can put in some letters, bits of a newspaper article that she really liked, or whatever. And you can decorate the outside with sequins or beads, maybe even spell out her name with them! Also, colored cotton balls would add a nice, cozy touch. Hope I helped, and hope your mom has a great bday! Good luck! =)
