Looking to buy lots of tools, would it be ideal to electrical tools or air powered tools and why?

It depends on what you want to do with them. Air tools will give you a lot of surge capacity. So if several people need to use several tools at once it won’t trip breakers and stuff. When I think pro tools I think air. I think air tools are generally more powerful but less mobile because you have to have an air tank nearby. Joseph
Airtools are usually more powerfull and superior for continious use, they are also safer in a shop enviroment since they dont require electrical power cords that can be damaged !
The downsides of airtools is the noise (usually airtools are more noisy and the noise is a higher pitch which has a more damaging effect on your ears ) and require lubricated air, another thing is that you need a compressor to run them !
So to sum it up, if you plan on using your tools in a shop and not at changing locations and if you plan on doing alot of work then stick with airtools , if you only use your tools on occasion and at different locations around the house or property then go with electric ! Lothar B
