Is there an adapter to run my cordless tools as corded?

Joel asked:

I would like to run my cordless tool kit from AC power when available. This would save me from having to pack around redundant tools when I have a plug available. I guess I could twist the arm of some of my more electron-savvy friends to help build this, but maybe there is a commercially available option.?

If the cordless tool works on dc supply from the in-built battery, use an adapter capable of taking the maximum load of the tool. K.Prakashchandra

If your battery powered tools are Dewalt brand, and 18 volt or 24 volt, they do make a corded adapter that plugs into the tool in place of a battery pack.

My Dewalt tools are 12 volt and they do not make an adapter for the 12 volt tools.

Have had thoughts about gutting an old battery pack and installing a 25 foot 12 gage extension cord, connected to the battery pack output terminals.
The other end connected to a 12 volt battery charger.
This would plug in, in place of a battery pack, when AC power is available.
