Christmas is right around the corner and I asked my mom for some Skill power tools and I was just wondering if Skill was a good brand of tools to buy so if any one knows or would like to share there opinion please share thanks.
So they are good for doing weekend projects but they are not to great for a actual construction workers.
Thanks for the answers and Jose A I will make my mom proud!

Skill makes good tools. They are not the hard use quality for the professional. I have a Skill 6 1/4 saw that is over 50 years old and still working fine. Rusty Nail

i use a skill drill and a skill saw and i don’t replaced for any other. these tools are not expensive as dewalt or makita but they do the same job. Enjoy your Christmas gifts! and start to repair things in your home( make mama proud). Jose A

in my opinion each manufacturer of power tool has a best type of a certain tool, opinions vary.
IMO Milwaukee makes the best mitre saw, dewalt the best drill, bosch the best pneumatic tools, skill the best circular saw and klein the best hand tools, hilti by far the best heavy duty and hammer drills, estwing hammers…. i can go on

i also prefer corded tools to battery for home improvement, they have more power and no batteries to deal with. battery power are good for new construction sites with no power or generator and very light duty use.

buy a good one and it could last you a lifetime of service c

Skil makes tools for all lever of users. Their HD and MAG 77 wormdrive saws are still the professional standard. But Skil also makes mid and entry-level tools Jim
