some tools require that you be right handed, but for the most part, no…… swthollitoes
as long as you understand the tool it doesnt matter, they can all be dangerous if not used correctly. they do make some left handed tools buck
Can be. It depends on the tool, of course, and whether it has a “handedness”. CoolDude
It can be.
I am left handed.left footed, left eared and left eyed.
I find that an electric cable often passes across my work surface when working left handed–R handed people cannot appreciate this–they should try it as a lefty to understand.
The best practical solution I have found is to use coordless tools.
It avoids cable problem JOHN B
Not really, unless you are a complete moron. Most tools are designed to be ambidextrious, or have ways of being adjusted to fit a lefty. Some companies make tools that are just for leftys, but I think that is a money scheme. You should be able to do fine with a vast majoirty of the tools out there regardless of what hand you are. Don’t be swayed by everything that is every printed. jayydoggs
it actaully is. . .its weird but were pretty much a right hand dominant society, theing like an electric drill you dont have to worry about, it only when you get up to like chainsaws and stuff that you need to worry, althouhg i think it is possible to purchase left handed power tools (in some cases not all) when buying them at like home depot or w/e ask them the safest way to use it or if it comes in left handed andy m

No. I’m only lefthanded for writing & ambidextrous even when swinging a 21 oz hammer. Gilbert65
