i don’t wanna use a scuba tank and im finding it hard to find a paintball or scuba store around here to refill it for me so im wondering if i could use an air compresser thats made for pneumatic (air) tools in construction since it provides constant air.

First think saftey…thats not safe. Second I highly recommend buying a scuba tank with a saftey valve for compression tanks. It will in the long rin save you time and money. Plus you can bring it to tournies with you!!

yea walmart will do it or gander mountain or any outdoors place. It cost me 4 bucks for the bigger tank and 2 for the small one

no it wont work because construction tools dont use a whole lot of psi like paintball a normal air compresser will NOT work its just not enought oomph in it cause regualar air compressers go to about 200psi maybe lil less maybe a lil more, in paintball your tanks are about 2000-6000psi, if u do want a compresser that will compress it enought your looking at an extra $12000

Like the guy bove me said, normal construction air compressors only opperate at about 200 psi. A paintball HPA tank needs a compressor that will fill up to at least 4500 psi. I looked into buying a HPA compressor a wile back but didnt feel like spending the $2500 reqired to get one. Thats why I went with a scuba tank instead.

Others are all correct about psi for compressors.

Keep looking for a dive shop that will fill your scuba tank even though you don’t have scuba certification. We fill scuba tanks for paintball enthusiasts, model airplane hobbyists, target shooters (compressed air legal in city limits) and the occasional diver. We are pretty friendly about it since we sell paintball gear as well as dive. Some shops may ask you to sign a waiver that you won’t use tank for diving.

    Have fun, Charlie
