I’m in the construction industry and get paid $ 30.00 hour as a carpenter. I’m losing work to illegal immigrants who are getting $15.00 an hr. They pay no taxes, insurance, or transportation and sometimes own no tools of their own. In the end they are making more money than me and the builder is paying less to get the work done.
Who said they are not taking jobs no one wants?

Last time I checked Gasman, there were citizens and legal immigrants who weren’t paying their taxes either. If you’re half as smart as I think you are, you should know that the builder is like the owner of a sports team, bling-bling / profit is all they care about in the long run.
The hiring of illegal criminal aliens affects Americans and legal immigrants in that they are being undercut (as you are)…naturally, corrupt employers would rather hire an illegal criminal alien for half the wage with no benefits. That’s but one effect. There are many more negative impacts…of course, but I’ll stick to your question.

The bull about illegals taking jobs no one else wants is just that–bull. They say that to make themselves feel better about taking our jobs. Every illegal working in this country is taking a job away from someone. There are millions of people on welfare in this country because they cannot find any entry-level jobs to help support their families. And the reason they cannot find these jobs is because the illegals already have them. Some people in this country would rather scrub floors than recieve welfare, but the illegals cannot understand this. As long as they have a job, they are happy. They don’t care about all the americans that don’t have work because of them.

The illegal immigrants will continue to corrupt America. We allow anyone to come in here, pop out babies like machine guns, (bonus check for welfare, which means more money) and allow anyone born here to become automatic U.S. citizens. Think of the U.S. as a small jar. Think of the world as a massive glass container. The marbles represent the people…as long as you try to put more and more in from the large jar (represents the entire world), to the small jar (U.S.), eventually, it will start overflowing. That is what is happening…overpopulation is HUGE right now. The rate we are going at, we won’t ever be able to build enough roads, houses, schools, hospitals, etc., the way we are growing. The economy is bashed every single year. I have no idea how much the budget is for illegals, but it has to be billions, even trillions of dollars. They come here, get free food, health care, rob from Social Security, live off of welfare. The more kids they have, the more checks they get, so why not have eight to ten kids? The financial burden is horrible…no telling how many trillions these illegals are costing us yearly. How do we stop this crisis? Well, just take the benefits away. If we didn’t have all the FREE things to offer, they wouldn’t be coming here. The education…HAVE ALL BOOKS IN ENGLISH. Don’t let the illegals get college education…take them back to Mexico if they can’t get citizenship (it’s not like it’s hard in the first place…it may be a long process, but not hard.) The unemployment rates will continue to rise because they come here, don’t work or anything, get everything for FREE, so why should they work…they just get everything handed to them in the first place. If they get paid to sit on their butts eating burritos all day instead of working, why not? Bringing more people in to take jobs…BS! If a legal U.S. citizen needs a job bad enough, he/she will do whatever they have to do to get that extra money. If you can’t handle the answer, don’t ask the question.
They are now starting their own business and under cutting the prices because they work illegal that they pay less than American companies.

Man what am I going to do with all of you? You people need to seriously do your homework before spouting off at the mouth. Illegals CAN’T take our Social Security. And yes they do pay taxes. Last time I checked they pay over 9 billion a year in taxes to social security alone, without being able to claim the benefits. Like I said before if you have such a huge problem with an immigrant taking your job report it. Quit your wineing and do something about it. Just so you know it is sad that you someone who is educated and speaks English can loose their job to someone “uneducated” that doesn’t even speak English. I mean that doesn’t speak volumes for your work. Any business is IN business to make money. If your were of value they would give you the jobs maybe your bids are too high. Example: There is a friend of mine who was making 33 dollars an hour as an assistant manager. He made that much because he kept pushing the manager and the owner to give him raises telling them about his PHD he has in Business Admin. Well his job duties were not comencerate of 33 dollars an hour. So eventually he lost his job to a 22 year old kid who took 20 dollars an hour. That is a real money saver to the owner. Make yourself an asset not a liability. Good luck with finding jobs.
I manage a warehouse operation; I interview prospective job applicants, and decide who to hire. The FACT that the feds had slipped loopholes allowing employers to hire illegals (fake documents) implies the feds are allowing us to hire these people. Observe that no senator or congressman would ever support an initiative to begin prosecuting and imposing penalties on employers like me. I prefer illegals because they not only work better, but will work overtime without expecting overtime pay. When my people go beyond the 40-hr per week or 8-hr per day limit, they don’t mind that I pay them cash (straight time) beyond these hours. On my books, it shows they never work overtime, when in fact they average 60 hours per week. When they’re injured, they don’t file workman’s comp against you. If offer a cash deal of paying of 5 to $10,000 (depending on the severity of the injury) to simply resign and disappear, they’ll agree to it. Hiring Americans can eventually put you out of business because your competitors are also hiring illegals. Had you noticed how much support / sympathy illegals are getting in this election? All the candidates who had promised to crack down on illegals are no longer on the remaining candidate list. Besides employers, legal aliens also sympathize with illegals. The remaining candidates refuse to answer questions about the immigration issue because they know this is going to shift voters opinion. The number of voters who support / sympathize with illegals outnumber the one’s who are against them. This is because a lot of illegals are also registered voters. They had used the same (fake) documents to secure jobs, to also register as voters. They don’t arouse suspicion at the polling places because they had registered as permanent absentee ballot status.
