Kamal Karna Roy (also known as Kamal K.K. Roy and Rev. Dr. Joseph Geronimo, Jr.) is a prolific pro se litigant who, since at least the early 1990s, has filed numerous lawsuits throughout the United States and its territories under the names Roy and Joseph Geronimo, Jr., as well as under the names of entities that he is affiliated with, including International Siva Consciousness & World Religions, Reforms International, Handicap Interests International, world religions group and Jungle Democracy et al.[1] Roy’s lawsuits are often brought against multiple defendants, and feature long, unconventional complaints. Roy has filed lawsuits against God, U.S. Presidents, Supreme Court Justices, fast food restaurants, foreign leaders.[2], and Wikipedia [3] [4].
Roy’s lawsuits have addressed, among many other things, actions taken by President George W. Bush, overcharging by telecommunication companies, the appointment of Chief Justice John Roberts to the Supreme Court, and “failure of democratic societies and God’s role therein.”[5] In 2006 Judge Michael W. McConnell of The United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit described a typical Roy complaint:
Roy, a/k/a Joseph Geronimo, Jr. filed a 115-page complaint, a 144-page amended complaint, and a 40-page second amended complaint against over sixty defendants, including among many others President Bush, God as U.S.-based divine benefactor, several government agencies, The New York Times, and Kentucky Fried Chicken. In addition to pages of rambling discourse, the complaint contains numerous illegible handwritten remarks.[6]
The Tenth Circuit went on to affirm the district court’s dismissal of the complaint holding that no discernible claim was apparent from the complaint. Judge McConnell also humorously noted that the court “strongly suspect[ed] at least one defendant was not properly served.”[7]
Most, if not all, of Roy’s complaints have been dismissed. A 2006 United States District Court for the District of Delaware opinion, Jungle Democracy v. U.S., describes Roy as “no stranger to litigation” and provides a partial list of Roy lawsuits that have been dismissed since 1991.[8]
Despite Roy’s lack of success in the courts, his lawsuits have been discussed in law school classrooms and in law related blogs.[9] [10]
In April 2007 Roy filed a civil rights action against, among others, CBS Broadcasting Inc., MSNBC, the United States Government, and controversial radio shock jock Don Imus.[11]
In October 2007, Roy filed a suit in the US District Court, Middle District of Fl

Fresno pols did the right thing, agree?
Fresno officials reluctant
Officials in Fresno were reluctant last year to use their eminent domain powers to seize private property to help billionaire Trump move forward with his 480-acre Running Horse development.
“Eminent domain has its place,” said Brian Calhoun, a member of the Fresno City Council. “We use it to help with road constructions and public housing. It’s a tool to deal with recalcitrant landowners.
“But when it came to using that power to help Mr. Trump build a private golf course - I just couldn’t see it. It just wasn’t defensible.”
prison industrial complex meaning profits?
I’m posting this here cause not many people talk about it .I hear time to time again about prison industrial complex meaning profits of construction companies that build prisons, and surveillance technology for prisons , food, uniforms, tools ,stuff for guards son on.
So the the organizations that do business in prisons profits !! But the US government does not or the taxpayers.
My question how do the organizations control the government so they have more prisons? And how can private prison make profits ? If government or taxpayers do not pay private prisons?
It is like the military industrial complex the business who make food, uniforms, tools, weapons, equipment, Army Tanks ,Army trucks, ships and fighter planes so on..The business make profits of this.
But like the prison industrial complex how do they control the government .
If some one wants to explain more how it works.

this is wrong—-Malaysia on trafficking blacklist —-please read what is the truth?
Malaysia has been relegated to a list of countries with the worst records in dealing with human trafficking, according to the US State Department’s annual “Trafficking in Persons” report.
It joined the ranks of those who failed to meet the minimum standards for the elimination of “modern day slavery”, said the report released on Tuesday.
In the report, Malaysia and 15 others were placed on Tier 3, the category used to rank non-compliant governments who also failed to take significant efforts to meet the minimum standards.
Blacklisted countries - including Myanmar, Sudan, Saudi Arabia and North Korea - are subject to US sanctions.
The authors of the US report said Malaysia failed to prosecute and punish traffickers, to provide adequate shelters and services to victims, or to afford protection from “involuntary servitude” - effectively slave labour.
‘Stronger will’
The government was also cited for not prosecuting traffickers already detained under preventive laws.
“The Malaysian government needs to demonstrate stronger political will to tackle Malaysia’s significant forced labour and sex trafficking problems,” the report said.
Malaysian government officials contacted by Al Jazeera on Wednesday were unavailable for comment on the report’s findings.
The Southeast Asian country was previously on the Tier 2 watch list meant for close scrutiny, along with India, Mexico and Russia.
Nations that meet what the state department says are minimum standards are placed under Tier 1 while Tier 2 is for those making significant efforts to do so.
The report said Malaysia had yet to establish a government-run shelter for foreign trafficking victims despite public announcements in 2004 and 2006.
“Without procedures for the identification of victims, the government continued to treat some trafficking victims as illegal immigrants, and arrest, incarcerate, and deport them,” it added.
‘Serious efforts’
Malaysia has passed the Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act this year giving it a significant potential tool to effect anti-trafficking reforms.
But the report said Malaysia still needed to show “a serious increase in efforts to punish trafficking crimes and to identify and protect trafficking victims over the coming year.”
Malaysia also has yet to ratify the United Nations Trafficking in Persons Protocol 2000.
The report said women and girls mainly from Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, Cambodia, Vietnam, Myanmar and China were trafficked into the sex trade.
Malaysia was also accused of subjecting economic migrants to conditions of forced labour as domestic workers, or in the agricultural, construction or industrial sectors.
In 2006, a memorandum of understanding with Indonesia authorised Malaysian employers to hold the passports of Indonesian women hired as domestic help, a practice which the report says can lead to involuntary servitude.
Why do white collar folks assume construction workers are morons?
Granted, there are some menial jobs in the field, But when you take into consideration the mathmatical skills (angles, weight, measurements, blue prints) the knowledge of regulations, running large crews, the ability to operate the high-tech tools and machinery, staying on top of state of the art technology (radiant heat, etc)risking their lives for their trade, on top of being able to meet deadlines and budgets, how can people assume they are uneducated? They sit in their air conditioned office (which wouldnt be there if not for them) and type data into a program that does the calculations for them, yet look down on these people. It’s not as if you just pick up a drill and suddenly know how to run duct work efficiently or rebuild an AC unit.
i have a semi-office job, but have nothing but respect for the people responsible for giving us the buildings and skylines we admire but give no credit for.
Sorry Yun, i shouldve said “most of the white collar folks, especially on these forums”, as i asked the question due to immigration arguments where they act as if construction is beneath them and something to be ashamed of.
I also didn’t say I agree w/ it, but there is an undeniable class division between the guy in a suit and the guy in a hard hat.
