I’m looking for a company to invest in that makes the majority of the litium-ion batteries for power tools(cordless drills and such) as well as electronic devices such as lap-tops and cell phones. There must be on major foreign or domestic company that has a large market share.

The speakers are some speakers from my old stereo and I have a pro tools m-box mini. The speakers have the red and black cables but the m-box has 1/4″ outputs and hooks up via usb. Can I get a converter from the black and red stereo cable to 1/4″ and if so can the usb power the speakers and the m-box without issues? Or do I need to buy some fancy studio monitors or a speaker amp or receiver?

There was a previous thread about Dewalt Batteries being weak. I am about to send my Dewalt DW9057 in for replacement under warranty. The problem is that not all rechargables are created equal. The DW9057 is the WORST type of rechargeable battery - it is NiCd - which is prone to “Memory Effect”. The Best rechageables are Li-ion - Lithium Ion — I have some 20 years old and still holding charge! In the middle are NIMH - Nickel Metal Hydride - these cost a little more they NiCd but are worth the difference. They are very resistant to memory effect. I have not had one fail on my yet, but have heard that they do eventually fail. Dewalt does make all 3 types of batteries! So if you have a NiCd that died out of warranty — be sure to upgrade at least to NIMH or Li-ion if available. There is a nice Dewalt replacement in NiMh made by Lenmar. I am happy with it.

So how do you prevent Dead rechargeable Battery problems?

DO NOT BY NiCd! I even have AAA, AA, D and 9v batteries all in NiMh and the NiCd I used to have in those sizes are long since dead!

Its just like a normal speaker terminal box but with an a/c adapter instead of speaker connectors. I have tried creating this two times but I’m not very skillful with power tools. If anyone could tell me where to purchase this or if you could custom make it, I would appreciate it greatly… Thanks!
I am trying to put power into a speaker box and i would like to use a recessed terminal port with an a/c plug instead of say speaker ports.
Ive gone to home depot, best buy, radio shack, and searched several online stores and i can not find anything like this, however i know it exists because i have seen the object before i just dont know where.

With pro tools you have a m-audio interface which is a little box. That’s where you can plug in an instrument if you’d like

what i asking is the batteries mentioned all fit the same charger they are all the same brand and type, so what does (Ah) mean?

hi. i think it is a power bit driller. how to work it? it has a slider top slider and trigger then the round part 1st clicks around and the 2nd clicks hard i donnt know to describe it good any help please how to unlock it b./c right now it is locked like u can put a bit in it so how to “open” it??! thanks! don’t know any info on it all i know it is really old model starts with a t or something blue and pro problebly! thanks!

I just bought a Porter Cable 892 Router because I have always used and trusted the name. Now today on rockler.com 2 reviews about it were not good. I searched for an hour to get more opinions to no avail. I can’t judge on just 2 opinions, any site recomendations?
And home depot won’t take it back if you try it. Which one site strongly suggest. They say the motor performance can vary even though it’s the same router. Hard to believe, eh?
