I’m in the middle of a bit of a project, in order to finish this project I need:
a power drill with hole saw attachment
& a staple gun

I do not currently own either.

I’ve recently moved from the US to the UK so I don’t really know where in my area (Harrogate, North Yorkshire) one could rent a power tool.
I’ve tried looking around online for tool rental shops but I’ve come up empty as of yet-
Any suggestions?

I bought a sliding compound miter saw to cut laminate flooring. I have experience with power tools, but not a miter saw. I’ve read the manual and will get used to operating it before plugging it in, but wondered if anyone has any useful tips regarding use of the saw (and laying easy-clic flooring). Thanks!

So i have been seeing wooden pipes alot and i want to make one the only problem is i don’t have access to any power tools. So what should i do to make a wooden pipe?

Im going to put the lights on one circuit and the receptacles on another. I plan on having 4-5 4ft 2 bulb fluorescent lights. I also plan to put about 5 receptacles on the other circuit. Ill be using the receptacles for power tools. What size breakers and wire do i need?

Machines in use will include: table saw (220v), band saw, drill press, router, planer, jointer, dust collection, misc. power tools. Other power consumers include a refrigerator and lights. Aside from the T-saw, other tools will be run on 110v.

The dust collection will run in conjunction with any of the cutting tools. Does it need a dedicated line?

How many circuits do you recommend?

Do I need a sub-panel in the garage?

I have a DeWalt 621 plunge type router, and I want to convert it into a mounted device on a router table. I cannot find any plans online so if anyone can help me with this that would be great. My goal is to convert some of my hand power tools into desktop, or bench/standalone work tools: plunge router into a router table; my skil saw into a table saw.

I want to go to Lowe’s or Home Depot and buy some lumber for my newly bought power tools. I plan on making random things whenever I feel like it and I’m looking for a general all purpose type of wood. I know there are specific woods for specific projects but there has to be something that’s okay for everything. I want to build chests, little bookcases, rice paper lamps, stools, dvd cases, or whatever else I can think of. I’d also like to keep it in the cheap to moderate price range nothing expensive I just want to stock up. Thanks.
