StillRidin’_BigWheels asked:

Is this possible?

I need to replace a fuse in this fuse holder on the power cable running to my amp.

I don’t have the tools to disconnect the power cable from the battery first…

But is it possible to just unscrew the damn fuse holder, replace the fuse, and screw it back on without any consequences?

when changing fuses you are always supposed to disconnect the power supply, you can damage your equipment if you don’t. Shawn

your not supose 2 replace the fuse, while connected, but it can be done, i did it many times i a car i had to turn the amp off(no switch on remote) but if you have a capacitor, no u will need to disconnect, replace the fuse and charge the capacitor with test light or resistor first.
