Astronauts help please?
This is an class assignment but I need ideas…
Building the International Space Station will require more space-walking hours (over 150!) than have ever been attempted in space before. Design an innovation that would be able to assist astronauts in the construction of the space station.
Keep in mind…
The laws of physics.
The vacuum of space.
The needs of the crewmembers.
The limitations of the current space suit.
The design of the space station.
Your innovation can be used by the crew on a spacewalk, or by an astronaut inside the shuttle, or inside the space station. It can be a remotely operated or manually controlled piece of equipment, a tool, a process or even software. It can address any part or phase of the construction process from the next mission through assembly complete.
Please can you help asap!!

A robot space ship with arms that might move and build things by remote control from inside a ground or space station.
CAD CAM
Computer assisted manufacturing.
We do it right now with atomic stuff, mechanical arms operated by people.
All you have to do is radio control this.
It would take a team.
One person to work the arms
Another to work the navigation of the ship
Others to see the ship and execute orders to the people working it.
This is nothing new.
On a boat the Captain says right full rudder, port engines astern, starbord engines to flank.
This would make a very hard turn.
It’s coordination of several elements.
A plains man
A sterns man
A hands operator
A pilot
Maybe a Captain
This would remotely control handling materials
It could even assemble them
encase the entire spacestation inside an inflated bubble of plastic, which has the properties of a greenhouse gas .. lets light in but it reflects around afterwards.
Now you can build your spacestation INSIDE THE BUBBLE without a space suit.
